When I was debating what I was going to write my papers on this semester I really thought about an issue that I have seen first hand and I also consulted my sister Kylee. She said right off the bat that I should do Breastfeeding in Public. Right then, I knew that's what i would do. The pieces that I choose to publish on this magazine were the most education items that I wrote and created. I think a lot of people aren't educated on hot topics and if the were they'd be able to understand and be able to make a clear opinion on the issue.
Nichole McDonald I chose each of these papers, not only because I felt like they were my best work, but because they show each aspect of education. From a bad teacher that can haunt you to a teacher that goes above and beyond as if it is no challenge whatsoever. I also discuss education as a group effort. Everyone needs to put in effort and time - teachers, students, parents, and communities. We need to remember the difficult task of obtaining a good education and support every individual hoping to take on the task.
Alexis Smith With each of our issues there is a political undertone that brings them altogether. I would say that most people know or are familiar with the issues we’ve talked about in this magazine. They are relatable and also intriguing when put together. I chose the papers/projects I thought I did my best on, the ones I thought communicated my message with successful rhetoric and reliable information.
Chrystina Rios After this research project, I want to be able to spot when discrimination is at play, and if it is I want to point out the problem, speak to it and make a difference in the world and the lives of others for the better. I don’t think it fair for a person to get the short end of the stick just because he/she does not pertain to a certain group. My goal is to spread awareness and create positive change.
